and I hate the phrase "the cake is a lie" and it's used in nearly every single portals reference (including my cartoon), and its annoying! Ill have to hand it to ya that it sounds like a good hting you accomplished there, just a few things in that game annoy me when it comes to references xP

I think the quote is referring to the sign on the wall with a picture of cake on it and an arrow pointing left. Unfortunately for you, it leads to the furnace.

THE CAKE IS A LIE was written by the scientists that were held captive in Aperture Labs when GLaDOS went bananas. Because back then, there was no cake.
Since the start of the game though, GLaDOS had made a cake- That last scene shows you that she genuinely had thrown you a party cos she likes you.
Before you blowed her up anyway =(
