No matter what medium you use, you can put in as little or as much effort as you want. There are plenty of crap flash movies, and there are some very good sprite movies. Effort comes from the author, not the medium.

Sprites are just for failures. Seriously, Try making something actually worthy of being watched. I apologize for being so harsh but I'm sick and tired of sprite movies and you saying that they are original and creative is just pushing it. "as long as you can be creative inside your head", dumbest shit I read all year.

Sprites can be original yes, they have plenty of potential. Too bad most of that potential is wasted on countless Sonic and Shadow sprite fights fighting in the style of an anime that's just way to damn long.
